I drew this for my Illustration Friday submission this week. The word to illustrate is "tail". Hmmm, not sure that feathers would be considered tails, but it's the idea that popped in my head so I went with it!

Here is one of my newest drawings. The Illustration Friday word this week is "creature" so this is what I came up with. Such an appropriate word with Halloween just days away now. So, happy (almost) Halloween!

omni art house submission ... gnome matryoshkas

this is my most recent submission for the Omni Art House gallery. the topic to illustrate was "gnome", which i love, probably because it was my topic idea that was chosen this time. (woo-hoo!) it feels soooo good to be drawing again. i get in these slumps where it seems impossible to find time to be creative but once i start drawing again it just feels awesome and amazing and great and therapeutic and wonderful.
(note to self: keep drawing!!!!)
