As if on auto-pilot, Frank grabbed the milk and poured it over his cereal. He tried with little success to unravel the events of the long night. Nothing, not even lumpy, expired milk could bring him out of his thoughts.

Maria and Dante danced through the moonlight all the way from dusk until dawn. The midnight sky and stars watched on and flashed them occasional shiny flickers of light to steer them through this glorious summer night.

Slow and heavy footsteps creaked though the hall. Daniel suddenly noticed that his toes were sticking out of the closet but it was too late to move. He sat there. Still and quiet - trying to disappear, trying to become hollow.
